In Memory: Velma Kirchhoff

Velma A. Kirchhoff, 88, of Oakland died November 18 at the Oakland Manor:

She was born in Carson to Carl and Fanny (Speet) Brockman. She also lived in Treynor.

She was a cook at the Treynor Bowling Alley Cafe. She was a member of Zion, Congregational Church and the church's Ladies Aide. She was a member of Treynor Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1986.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Eitmann and husband, Dean, of Treynor; two brothers, Walt Brockman and Roy Brockman, both of Carson; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Saturday at Cutler Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Zion Congregational Church in Treynor with the Rev. Tim Koehn of Grace Bible College officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Treynor Fire and Rescue and the Treynor State Bank Committee Foundation.
