Nancy Marie Siegrist, formerly of Council Bluffs, age 85, passed away in Denver, Colo., on January 19, 2008.

Nancy was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Latrobe, Pa. She graduated from Latrobe High School and attended Purdue University. Nancy moved to Council Bluffs in 1945 and resided there until last year. She was a housewife, but worked at the County Courthouse for several years. She was a docent at the General Dodge House for many years and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Siegrist.

Survivors include daughter Cheri Siegrist of Denver Colo.; sons, Bruce Siegrist (Carol) of Denver, Brent Siegrist (Valerie) of Council Bluffs; and Brett Siegrist (Juanita) of Highlands Ranch, Colo.; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be 4-6 p.m., Friday, followed by wake service at 6:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. A burial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the General Dodge House.
