Roy J. Boyden Sr., age 71, passed away November 28, 2007.

Roy was born in Omaha on July 2, 1936, to Joseph and Mary Boyden. Roy served his country in the Army-Air Force from 1957 to 1963. He married Marjorie L. Pollock on June 24, 1961. Roy worked as Vice President and Physical Plant Director for Mutual Of Omaha for 26 years. Memberships included St. Peters Church, American Legion Post 374, Millard, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Jo Nohavek.

Survivors include wife Marjorie; sons, Roy Jr., all Council Bluffs, Steven and Jeff, both of Omaha; grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Joseph, Kalen, Amber, Jacob, Rachael; 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Gulizia of Omaha and Jeanne Becker of Knoxville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Dick Nohavek of Lincoln; nieces and nephews.

Wake Service Sunday, 4:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 6:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral Mass Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Peters Church, Father Chuck Kottas celebrant. Luncheon will follow at church hall. Burial of cremains at St. Joseph Cemetery on Tuesday.

Memorials to St. Peters Church preferred.
