John F. Rocha, age 88, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away November 24, 2007.

John was born April 21, 1919, in Council Bluffs to Louis and Carmen Fabela Rocha. John owned and operated a restaurant and night club.

He is preceded in death by daughter, Della Hernandez and his parents.

Survivors include wife of 61 years, Lupe Mendez Rocha; sons, Marciano, John and wife, Connie, Valentino and wife, Janice, Ricardo and wife, Carolyn, all Council Bluffs, Nicholas, of Omaha; daughters, Marcelina Smith and husband, Greg, Flora Anita Falcon, Victoria Ann Dominguez and husband, Edward, all Council Bluffs, Tonia Adams and husband, Tim, of Crescent, Sheila Rocha Valerio and husband, Miguel, of Omaha; 51 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Gomez and Martha Benegas, both of Omaha, Jacoba Guzman and Rebecca Donelly; brother, Isais Rocha, all Council Bluffs.

Visitation Monday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Lloyd Grote officiant. Cremation will follow services.
