Mrs. F. Sankey Succumbs Lingering Illness
Death cam to Mrs. Frank Sankey, at 9:50 AM yesterday, August 4 after a long illness and at times great suffering. She died at her home here in Walnut, at the age of 81years, 11 months, and 26 days

Mandania Alice Sankey was born August 8, 1862 and died Wednesday, Augus 4, 1934. She was married to Frank Sankey, Febuary 27, 1883 at Red Oak Iowa, and then came to Walnut to make their home in 1899.
To this union five children were born, three preceeding her in daeth.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughter, Mrs. H.L. Taggart of Indianola and Mrs. Ted Johnk of Walnut; a host of grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers an a host of other relatives and friends.

In her early childhood, Mrs. Sankey was united with the Brethern Church. She was a good Christian woman, considerate of everyone and a devoted wife and mother. Her home was always put first and no effort was spared for her love ones. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her and will be misses by a great many friends in and around Walnut.

Funeral Services will be held at the Rieck Huneral Home, Friday afternoon at two o'clock, the Rev. M.A. Banker of the United Federated church in charge. Burial will be made in the Walnut Cemetery.
