Arden F. Kissel

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Graveside services for Arden F. Kissel, 87, of San Jose, Calif., will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Dec. 6.

He died Dec. 4 at the Kieser Santa Teresa Medical Center in San Jose.

He was born in Neligh, Neb., to George W. and Martha J. (Cole) Kissel. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He lived in Council Bluffs most of his life and worked as a pipe fitter for Peoples Natural Gas and the Missile base in Omaha. He moved to California and worked for The Ford Motor Co. for 12 years until he retired.

Mr. Kissel was preceded in death by his wife, Helen.

Survivors include one daughter, Katherine Colacicco, and husband, Ray; two sisters, Jeanette M. Cross of Council Bluffs and Martha J. Stall of Mead, Neb.; one brother, Robert A. Kissel, of Council Bluffs; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Oak Hill Mortuary in San Jose is in charge of arrangements.
