Floyd E. Ford, 81 years, Council Bluffs, passed away November 13, 2007, at Midlands Living Center.

Born in Weston, Iowa, he served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He retired in 1998 from the maintenance department of Eppley Airport. He was a member of Broadway Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie Lou (Parks) Ford in 1998.

Survivors include his wife, Jean A. Grimm-Ford, Council Bluffs; sons, Terry B. Ford, wife Laurie, St. Paul, Minn., Donald E. Ford, Minneapolis, Minn.; daughters, Carol S. Schurb, Fridley, Minn., Bonnie L. Ford, Minneapolis, Minn.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Leo Ford, Modale, Iowa, Joe Ford, Baltimore, Md., nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:30 a.m. at Broadway Christian Church, Rev. Jann Osborn, pastor, will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post #737. Visitation with the family will be at the church, Saturday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.
