Glenn L. Mabbitt, Sr., 82, of Council Bluffs, passed away Friday, November 9, at Mercy Hospital.

Glenn was born on March 5, 1925 in Carson, Iowa to Everett and Mable (Kennedy) Mabbitt. Glenn was a 43 year employee for the Union Pacific Railroad.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marietta Sites; brothers, Kenny and Everett "Bud".

He will be loved and missed by his wife of 64 years, Dollie "Jane"; sons, Glenn, Jr. and his wife Diane, Ronald, Jerry and wife Peg; brother, Warren Mabbitt; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 14 at 1 p.m. at the Maher-Livingston Funeral Home with the visitation from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday also at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Gardner Township Cemetery.
