Virginia "Ginny" Lash Fuller, age 58, of Bellevue died October 13, 2007, at Creighton University Hospital after an intense battle with angiosarcoma.

Ginny was born July 10, 1949, in Council Bluffs to Dr. Don Lash and Frances (Marshall) Lash. She Graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. She attended Beloit College before becoming a staff member of the American Field Service offices in New York and Minneapolis. When she returned to Omaha she became the office manager at Laughlin, Peterson and Lang Attorneys. Later she served on the staff of the Iowa Racing Commission at Bluffs Run. Ginny was a life-long member of First Congregational Church.

Ginny is preceded in death by her father, Dr. Don Lash; grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. R. J. Lash and Mr. and Mrs. Verne Marshall.

Ginny is survived by husband, Albert of Bellevue; mother, Frances Lash of Bellevue; brother, Douglas and wife, Susan Lash of Omaha; mother-in-law, Marjorie Scholes; sisters-in-law, Barbara Layou, Jennifer Green and husband, John; stepsons, Don and Johnathan Fuller; nieces, Becky Rabick and husband, Mark, Sarah Centineo and husband, Joe and their children, Laura Flahive and husband, Jim and their children.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held at First Congregational Church, 612 1st Avenue, Council Bluffs, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Richard Knobel officiating. A luncheon will be held at the church following the memorial service.

Memorials are suggested to Service Dogs for America, Omaha Humane Society or a charity of choice. There will be no viewing or visitation. The family is grateful to the caring doctors, nurses and staff at Creighton University Hospital and VNA Hospice.
