Joseph George Kruml, Jr., age 73, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., died August 16, 2007, at Arkansas Hospice, in Saint Joseph's Mercy Health Center.

He was born August 4, 1934, in Ord, Neb., to the late Dr. Joseph George Kruml, Sr. and Helen Grace Leighton Kruml.

Survivors include his wife, of almost 50 years, Joan Harrington Kruml, of Hot Springs Village; four children: Judy Ann Amos and husband Dave, of Atlanta, Ga., Jacquie Welch and husband Brien, of Omaha, Neb., Jean Hammond and husband Gary, of Saco, Maine, and Joe Kruml, III and wife Janna, of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother, Don Kruml and wife Meredith, of Yankton, S.D.; sisters: Helen Bees, of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Rita Johnson and husband Larry, of Flower Mound, Texas; and eleven grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2007, at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic church, in Omaha. Reception will follow at 17342 "O" St., Omaha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Arkansas Hospice, 5600 West 12 St., Little Rock, AR 72204.
