Edward V. REINEKE, Jr. passed away Friday, 31 Aug 2007. He was 93 years old at the time of his death.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, 8 Sep at 2 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Park Lawn Funeral Home in Kansas City is in charge of arrangements.

Edward V. REINEKE, Jr. was born 27 Aug 1914 and raised on a farm in Avoca, IA.

After school he spent 35 years managing food stores for Ruback in Iowa and A&P throughout the Midwest. Edward spent his final working years with the Finance Dept. of Kansas City. He also did volunteer work at Children's Mercy Hospital. Edward was a member of Red Bridge Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki; a son, James; his wife of 54 years, Lois; and his second wife of nine years, Lena Lois SHANON.

He is survived by five sons, David, Dennis, Jeffrey, Steven and Michael; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
