Ashley Earl Mattox of Omaha, NE passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 in Omaha. He had attained the age of 39 years, four months, and seven days. Memorial services were held Thursday, March 8, at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church in Omaha. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Avoca, IA at a later date. Ashley Earl Mattox, the son of Marland Duane and Dorothy Carroll Mattox, was born Oct. 20, 1967 in Harlan, IA. ... baptized in Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca. He attended school in Avoca and was a member of the local Boy Scout Troop. In 1983 he became a confirmed member of Trinity Lutheran. Ashley graduated from AvoHa High School with the class of 1986. Shortly after graduation he moved to Omaha, and was employed at Watts Telemarketing. Ashley became a member of Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church in Omaha in April 2006. . . . preceded in death by his mother Dorothy and his grandparents. ...survived by his father Marland and stepmother Linda; his sister Danette and her husband George Koziol; aunts and uncles and many cousins and friends.
