INJURED IN ROUTE TO SCHOOL

Leo Ryan Thrown From Pony
And Sustains Broken Arm.

Special to the Daily Nonpareil
Underwood, Ia. March 7 – On Tuesday morning, Leo Ryan who lives about three miles south of town, started to school on his new Shetland pony. He had only gone a short distance when the pony became frightened at some object in the road and became unmanageable. The boy was thrown to the ground and upon examination it was found that his right arm was badly broken, and he was seriously jarred and shaken from his fall. Dr. A. I. Wyland of this place set the arm.
