Mr. and Mrs. Louie Plautz
Celebrate Silver WeddingMr. and Mrs. Louie Plautz celebrated their Silver Wedding anniversary at a wedding dance held at the Avoca hall Monday evening, June 5. The music was furnished by Harold Swenson and his band from Minden.
A mock wedding was presented by friends and relatives from Omaha. Those who participated in the mock wedding were Bob Rock as the bride, Elmer Nelson, the groom; Lorene Berge, best man’ Mildred Schultz as bridesmaid; Helen Nelson, minister and Hugh Dougherty as flower girl.
A large number of friends and relatives from the surrounding community were present. All sisters and brothers of the honored couple were present except Mr. Plautz’s younger brother, Leo.
Mrs. Robert Miller of Council Bluffs, the former Doylene Plautz, and Mrs. Plautz’s mother, Mrs. Kathryn Henningsen were among the honored guests.
