Jesse C. Rhodabeck
1824 - July 30, 1905

J. C. Rhodabeck, attorney, Council Bluffs, began reading law in 1853, in Newark, Ohio, with E. C. Smythe; was admitted to the bar in Franklin County in 1856, and began the practice of his profession in Harrison County, Iowa, in 1868. Previous to this, however, he was speculating in land in Benton County, Iowa. In March, 1881, he came to Council Bluffs, where he engaged in the practice of law. His grandfather on his mother's side was of English descent; his grandfather on his father's side was of German descent, and his grandmother's were of Scotch descent.
