B. T. Connor, marble, Council Bluffs, came to Council Bluffs in 1878, from Burlington. He was born in Galena, Ill., in 1853. He learned his trade in Galena, Ill., and thence moved to Burlington. He employs six men and does a yearly business of $15,000. He built his present building in 1879. His parents are still living at Galena, Ill.; they had a family of nine children.
