Biological Maternal Great Grandmother

I am desperately trying to find out any information about my biological maternal great grandmother. Her name was Helen Spencer Grayson. On my grandmother's birth certificate in 1921 the biological mother is listed as Helen Spencer Grayson, Negro, age 20. It shows an address as SE 8th Indianola Rd Des Moines.

My grandmother was adopted the same day she was born to Helen and she always wanted to know who her birth parents were. She passed never knowing. My own mom is turning 80 this year and I'd love to gift her with information about Helen! There must be a photo, school record, anything! I've searched Ancestry and all the other sites and come up with nothing at all.

Miracles happen! Maybe someone out there has heard of her!
