Marie V. Wilbois, of Des Moines, passed away on Thursday January 9, 2014, at Fleur Heights Care Center with her family beside her.

Marie was born on July 28, 1917 in Des Moines to Hazel (Weaver) and John Dingeman. She lived her entire life in Des Moines. Marie retired from Meredith Publishing in the data processing department after 35+ years of dedicated service.

Marie is survived by her children, Larry Wilbois and Karen McDaniel, both of Des Moines; two granddaughters, Jennifer Wilbois and Melissa (Ryan) Baker, both of Des Moines; great-grandchildren, Baylee, Brennan and Brody, of Des Moines; brother, Donald Dingeman of West Des Moines; sisters, Marilyn (Bob) Cook of Pleasantville, IA. and Nadine Markum of Canterbury, PA.; and a host of other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and John Dingeman; husband, Joseph Wilbois; sisters, Kathryn Eivins, Betty Barr and Darlene Eickenberry; brother, John Dingeman and granddaughter, Debbie Sharp.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Family will greet friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
