Main, Patricia Sue Mudgett – 1943-2012

Pat Main passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospice in Johnston on February 20, 2012. Pat was born January 24, 1943 to Jennie Ada Holmes Mudgett and James Everett Mudgett. She was later blessed to have her step-dad Joe L. Torsky. Pat married Jack "JD" L. Main and they had two children together, Kim and Rick.
Pat was a waitress her entire life and also owned and operated A & J Motel in Camdenton, MO. She will be remembered for her generosity of her time, kindness and love.
She is survived by her children, Kim Main and Rick Main, both of Des Moines-DP; grandchildren, Heather Main of Des Moines-DP, Josh "JD" Main of Des Moines-DP and Christy Main of AZ; loving sister and brother-in-law, Marge and Wayne Chambers of AZ; and JD's mother, Irene Emerson Main and JD's siblings, Lavenia Carr, Ronnie Main and Billy Main.
Per her wishes, Pat has donated her body to Des Moines University and there are no formal services planned. Pat always said that she wanted those to honor her life with "No Tears, Just Laughter, Fun and to Rock On."
The family would like to say a "Special Thank You" to their angels at Mercy Hospice and to Mr. and Mrs. Denny Firestone in Camdenton, MO.
