Robert Walker passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. He was 66 years old.
All services will be held at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012. Funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m., with burial following at Highland Memory Garden Cemetery.
Robert was born on December 23, 1945, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, to Loretta and Virgil Walker. He lived in the Des Moines area for most of his adult life.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sherin; daughter, Ronda (Tim) Walker-Zepeda; son, Robert E. Walker, Jr.; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Chad Walker; and one brother.
