Judith Mae Darling, 70, of Des Moines, IA passed away Friday, March 23, 2012.
Judith Bergstrom was born on January 2, 1942 in Des Moines, IA to Esther and the late Jack Bergstrom. She married Larry Russell Darling on May 9, 1959. She obtained her RN license in 1979 and worked for over 30 years on Younker 8 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, on January 12, 2007, and their son, James Dean Darling on December 19, 1967. Judy is survived her sister Deborah, her husband Michael Webber, and their children Kyle and Kristen, and by her brother Jack Bergstrom, his wife Vilma, and their children Mary and Erika. Judith is also survived by her daughter Susan Darling of Des Moines, her husband Carlin Driver, and their children Justin, Cyle, and Brandon; her son Jeff Darling of Conway, AR, his wife Andrea, and his children Lindsay and Matt ; her son Chris Darling of Des Moines and his children Andreas, Whitney, and Calvin; her son David Darling of Des Moines, his wife Amy, and their children David, Jr. and Nicole. Judith also has three great-grandchildren: Tristan and Gabriel of Justin and Tana Darling, and Violet of Cyle Williams.
A celebration of Judith's life will take place Monday, March 24, 2012 at her home, beginning at 2 p.m.
