Sun Tae Drury Hartzell, age 79, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2012 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21 at Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale. Interment will be made in McDivitt Grove Cemetery in Urbandale.

Sun was born on January 13, 1933 in Seoul, Korea to Yim Ki Suk and Nam Sun Kil. She married Arnold S. Drury in Seoul, Korea and moved to the United States in 1968. After the death of her first husband, she married Dr. John P. Hartzell. Sun was a member of the Korean Baptist Church and Worked for the Urbandale School District in the lunch program.

Sun is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Arnold S. Drury and Dr. John P. Hartzell. She is survived by her loving and caring friends, Katie Blaess, Shirley Johnson, Beth Ketchum, Mary Douglas, Jean Huss, and Phyllis Swink.
