Ralph A. Catron Sr., 72, of 107 S.W. Bell Ave., died Monday of a heart ailment at Iowa Lutheran hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Visitation Catholic Church, with burial in the Altoona Cemetery. A scripture service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
Born in Savonburg, Kan., Mr. Catron lived in Des Moines 25 years. He was a retired employee of the city assessor’s office and a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; three sons, Larry J., Ralph A. Jr. and David A., all of Des Moines; two daughters, Molly Ann Brugioni of Des Moines and Carolyn K. Catron of Guam; and 13 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home.
