Obituary

Mary Jo (Kitterman) Wilson, 91, passed away on August 25, 2022 at Bishop Drumm Care Center. She was born in Ottumwa, IA to Robert & Gertrude Kitterman. Mary married Ronald Wilson on September 17, 1961. They had three sons. Brian, Steven and Timothy. She graduated from Ottumwa Heights Academy. She was employed by Northwestern Bell until her retirement. She was also a proud member of CWA Union for many years. She enjoyed camping, country line dancing, and attending family gatherings. She was a member of St Pius Catholic Church. She will be missed by her children, Brian (Janet) Wilson, Steve (Cindy) Wilson, Timothy (Vy) Wilson. Grandchildren, Brian (Tiffany) Andrus, Ethan Conner, Nicole (Caleb) Priest, Rachel (Spencer Zevenbergen) Wilson, Mitchell Wilson and John Wilson, 6 great grandchildren and sister Maureen (John) Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald, brothers, Larry & James Kitterman and sisters, Ada Tarbell and Catherine Andrews. The family wishes to extend their thank you’s to the staff of McAuley Terrace, Martina Place, Bishop Drumm, the Emergency Room Department at Mercy Hospital and Johnston Fire Department. A Private family burial will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. Memorial donations may be made St Pius Catholic Church in honor of Mary’s life.
