Lloyd E. Davidson, Jr., 83, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Friday, August 12th at Iles Grandview Park Chapel. Funeral services will be held 10 am, Saturday, August 13th at Central Bible Church Assembly of God on Guthrie Ave in Des Moines, IA. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.

Lloyd was born April 14, 1939, in Duncombe, Iowa to Lloyd and Ida (Heslop) Davidson. He graduated Dallas Center High School and then moved to Arizona to work on oil riggs and copper mines. He married Beverly Haworth and had three children. Lloyd returned to Iowa. On April 26, 1969 Lloyd married Wilma “Toody” Bigley, and together they raised ten children. He worked with various companies, retiring from BFI. Lloyd enjoyed fishing and camping with his family, he built racecars and his famous tin men.

Lloyd is survived by his children: Debbie Breeden of Urbandale, Sandy (Jack (d)) Dearden of Des Moines, Larry (Eileen Jennings) Fees of Las Vegas, NV, Perry Davidson of Rock River, WY, Tony (Becky) Fees of Norwalk, Michael (Margie (d)) Davidson of Colorado Springs, CO, Kevin (Melissa) Davidson of Des Moines, Scott (Darla) Davidson of Bondurant; sisters: Loretta (Wayne (d)) Yori, Linda (Daryl) Seibert, Leesa (Chuck) Comito; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Toody; children: Mike Fees and Sonya Davidson.
