Mickey Lee Secory, 63, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Perry Lutheran Home in Perry, IA. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines.

Mickey was born May 20, 1958, in Mason City, IA, to Gordon and Donna (Rodemeyer) Secory. He married Laura in 1990 and together they enjoyed 26 years.

Mick worked as a regional manager for USIC for ten years and in the industry for 20 years. Mick was a true lover of sports. He was a great baseball and racquetball player. His teams were the Packers and the Twins and watched all their games. He also loved to watch his kids play sports, attending tournaments and other school activities. Mick was a hardworking, detail-oriented person in both his career and his personal life. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, grilling, and listening to music with a cold beverage. The most important part of his life, was his family and spending time with them.

Mick is survived by his mother of his children, Laura (Scott) McAtee; children, Matt (Shayla Christensen) Secory, Paulina (Chace) Chambers Nick Secory; grandchildren, Landon, Jaxon, Mila Secory. He was preceded in death by his parents.
