Theresa Ann Graziano was born December 6, 1951, to Eugene and Sara Graziano. She grew up on Des Moines’ South Side and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Her favorite things were balloons, the theater, and crosswords. She went on to work for the Dept of Education, in a legal firm, and most notably for her greater than 20 year tenure at Drake University in Student Life and Orientation. She also was a part of the Playhouse and then the Civic Center family since the day it opened, attending and ushering hundreds of shows.

Theresa was a member of the Beverdale Fall Festival Committee for a number of years and had since continued to drive her Corvette in the yearly parade. Upon retiring, she had begun serving with the Kiwanis Club and on the Des Moines Civil Service Committee, as well as her part in the family store, Graziano Brothers, Inc. There were many favorite charities that she enjoyed donating to. She most treasured her family, daughters Natalie (Daniel Cribbs) Graziano and Amy (Eric) Anderson, and their families: Parker and Sidney Anderson, and Ryker Cribbs. In passing, she leaves siblings Eugene Graziano, Jr and Luciann Graziano, niece SaraJean (Neil) Greenaway, with sons Emerson and Cade Greenaway, and extensive extended family.

Through her many years of community and work involvement, she leaves behind the numerous lives and friendships she touched. Services will be Saturday February 19, 2022. Friends/family will be received from 9-11am at St. Augustin church with a formal mass beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers/offerings, it is requested that donations be made to The Civic Center and/or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (links on Dunn’s Funeral Home website).

In lieu of flowers: Memorial can be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
