Ronald Eugene Allen, age 81, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away January 29th, 2022 peacefully in his sleep. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary Allen, sister Leona Neill, brother Richard Allen, daughter Rhonda Allen, grandson Patrick Frantz, father in law Robert Karnes, Sr., mother in law June Karnes, brother in law Robert Karnes, Jr. Ronald was born in Booneville, IA on January 13, 1941. He left behind his wife Delores, children Roberta (Steve) Frantz, Ronnie (Tina) Allen, Roxanne (Tom) Cuyler, Becki Allen, his sister Dixie Jennings and sister in law Becky (Lane) Hensley, 9 grandkids, 16 great grandkids, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ronald established Ron Allen & Son, Trucking in 1984 after many years of trucking and farming.
He never met a stranger and was always open to meeting new people. He enjoyed old time country music, western movies and shows, especially John Wayne, dancing, playing cards, camping and spending time with family.

He will be dearly missed. Due to the circumstances the family asks that you wear a mask. Ronald’s service will also be available to view online for those who cannot make it.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at United Methodist Church in Minburn, with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn. The family will greet friends Friday, February 4th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home – McCalley Chapel in Adel.

Any memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association and Minburn Emergency Rescue Team (MERT).
