OBITUARY
Corinne Louise Lambert, age 69, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 8, 2021. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of Bill and Sally Lambert and the oldest of three girls. Corinne attended Hoover High School, graduated from Iowa State University and received a masters in Recreation Administration from Aurora University. Corinne worked at United Way of Central Iowa as a Research Associate for the past 24 years. Prior to that she worked at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital, Chautauqua Area Girl Scout Council, Moingona Girl Scout Council, and Iowa State University Extension Service. Corinne worked as a certified massage therapist and a healing touch practitioner.

Corinne loved life and all the adventures that came with it. She found joy in learning, teaching, serving her community, and spending time with her friends and family. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed many canoe trips in different areas of the United States. Corinne also found joy in serving as an active member of the East Polk Rotary. She lived the Rotary goal of Service Above Self.

Corinne is survived by her mother Sally Lambert; sisters, Sara Rosene (Rich) and Julie Bright (Dick); as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of Corinne’s life will be held from 3-5pm, Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Raccoon River Park Nature Lodge, 2500 Grand Avenue in West Des Moines.
