Javier Casio Yescas, 26, of Saint Charles, Iowa died in Des Moines, Iowa on Friday, July 9th, 2021. He was born August 26, 1994 in Sioux City, Iowa to Armando and Tammy Yescas.

Javier is survived by his partner, Natalie McLain; father, Mr. Armando Yescas; mother, Ms. Tammy Yescas; brother, Andres Yescas; grandmother, Kay Studer; two half sisters, Selina and Megan; aunts and uncles, Francisco, Librado, Maria de Jesus, and Deann; and also by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ignacia and Jesus, and his maternal grandfather, Don.

Javier worked as a Claims Specialist for Iowa Total Care. He loved his bike and was an active leader in the Sportbike Riders of Iowa community. He was an active member of his fellowship and participated in numerous service positions and mentored others. Javier’s humility, grace, and inclusiveness followed him in every area of his life, although he never missed a chance to play small pranks on friends or climb a tree.

The family will greet friends from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Grandview Park Chapel, 3211 Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50317. His funeral service will begin at 10:00am on Saturday, July 17th at 10:00am with cremation to follow.
