Cole West, age 29, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He was born the son of Scott West and Desiree Dennis on October 19, 1991 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Cole's first love is his daughter, Brooklyn Ivy. He was a proud father of his little two year old girl. He was an avid Hawkeye football/wrestling, Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Cole loved to make people laugh, and was known to always have a movie quote on hand perfect for any occasion. He loved music and shared that love with his family. Cole will be remembered most by his loyalty, no matter the situation he always had your back. He was a huge supporter of his country and was a proud American. Cole will be missed beyond words.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Brooklyn Ivy West; his father, Scott West and mother, Desiree Dennis; siblings, Josh (Bre) Dunham, and Kenzie (Steven) Rank; grandparents, Carl (Sandy) West, and Denny (Kaye) McCloney; niece, Emersyn Dunham; nephews, Hudson Dunham and Kai Rank; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members.

Cole was preceded in death by his uncle, Rod McCloney.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 314 E Army Post Road, Des Moines, a service will follow the visitation. A private family burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens at a later date.
