Charlie and Billie Richards, aged 10 and 8, were drowned at Des Moines while their little sister, aged 6, sat on the bank for two hours wondering why they did not come to get her.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows Charlie was born in 1905 and Billie was born in 1909. They died in July 1916. They are both buried in Glendale Cemetery.
