Dena Guillory, 57, passed away December 30, 2011. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Merle Hay Funeral Home with burial at Chapel Hill Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Dena enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as her adventures at Prairie Meadows. She loved her dog, Spooky, and her scratch off lottery tickets. Dena will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roderick and Shirley Guillory.

Dena will be greatly missed by her life partner, Butch Kellow; sister, Debra (Micky) Stoker; brother, Frank Guillory; nephew, Michael (Kimberly) Stoker; niece, Danyal (Brad) Erickson; great-nieces and nephews, Rozlyn Stoker, Cody Mikesell, Chase Erickson, Hunter Erickson and Lexi Erickson; uncle, Larry Caldwell and aunt, Dolores Day.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa or to the American Cancer Society.
