Formerly of Des MoinesTony Ausilio, 85, died Monday, February 6, 2012. He attended Lincoln High School and worked as a sign painter for the Stoner Company. He founded Bixby Plaza Carpet Stores.
Tony is survived by sons, Tony Jr. and Joseph; grandchildren, Gina (Darin) Fishman, Toni (Jimmy) DeCello, Melissa, Tony, Joseph Ausilio; great-grandchildren, Sienna, Harper and Baby DeCello; and brother, John Ausilio.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mickey Andreano; sisters, Mary Bonanno and Elizabeth Conner; brother, Frank Ausilio; and parents, Conchetta and Joseph Ausilio.
Tony will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and shoe shine stories.
