Gale La Verne Price, 72, passed away February 3, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center.

Gale was born April 11, 1939 in Boone, IA to Albert and Esther Price. He retired from Victoria Cleaners. Gale was a member of Pleasant Hill Free Church and loved to sing bass.

Survivors include his wife Geneva (Genny) of Altoona, IA; children: Chris (Liz) Price of Milwaukee WI; Cindy (Gary) Housenga of Atlanta, GA; Brock Maxwell of Altoona, IA; grandchildren: Ryan and Adam Housenga, Sammi Hill, sister: Judith (Michael) Kelley, Bettendorf, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7th at Pleasant Hill Free Church, 4555 Parkridge Ave, Pleasant Hill, IA, 50327, with a burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 6 at Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW.
