Des MoinesCheryl Ann Blunt, 54, died Saturday, January 29, 2012 at the Mercy Hospice in Johnston following a extremely hard battle with cancer. Before her retirement she was a telemarketer and loved her job, she was born to talk.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, February 3, at 2 pm at the Merle Hay Funeral Home Chapel at 4400 Merle Hay Rd in Des Moines.
She is survived by three children, Michelle (Steve) Rieger, Leland Hill, Jr., and Nicole Verro, her mother, Alize Grosz, a sister, Lynda (Gary) Millard, a brother William (Martha) Grosz, six grandchildren and a special friend, Bruce. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Grosz. A Memorial Fund has been established.
