MaryLou Warford, 81, of Ankeny passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on the evening of January 19, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2011, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, in Ankeny. A visitation will be held 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., January 22, at Memorial Services of Iowa Chapel (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd.)

MaryLou's loving husband Joe W. Warford of Ankeny survives her, as well as her three sons A.C. (Mary E.), Jeff (Maureen "Mo"), and Bart (Peggy), her sisters Norma Tofall, Shirley Harland, Sandy (Bill) Taylor, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Helen Gross, sister Dorothy Ellis, and brothers Bud Gross, Earl Junior Gross, and Walter Gross. The family would like to thank the staff of the Mercy Hospital CCU/ICU for their outstanding dedication to our beloved MaryLou.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Legion Auxillary - Post 42, Ankeny, IA; Lutheran Hospital Auxillary Guild, Des Moines; Holy Trinity Lutheran Women's Group, Ankeny, IA; and Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Des Moines.
