David Lee Kronick passed away January 4, 2018, at his home in Urbandale, Iowa. He was born March 31, 1938, to Harry and Doris Kronick in South Bend, Indiana.

David is survived by his three daughters, Karen (Neil) vanOostenrijk, Linda Mercer, and Rebecca (Michael) Kronick; his grandchildren, Ryan (Janelle) Kronick, Austin Kronick, Esther (Landon) Baumhover, Melanie (Nick) Kronick, Douglas vanOostenrijk, Benjamin Mercer, and Isaac Mercer; great-grandchild to be, Maximus; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

David was preceded in death by his son, David (Kim) Kronick.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
