Marilyn Janes, 70, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at Polk City Nursing and Rehab in Des Moines, Iowa. No services are planned at this time.

There will be a private family burial at a later date at the Capay Cemetery, 24727 County Road 22 in Esparto.

Marilyn was born on Dec. 3, 1941 in Oakland. She enjoyed bowling, the family dogs, and above all, spending time with her family.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Bill (Patricia) Janes; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hannah, and Matthew; great-granddaughter, Emily Danielle; and brother, Eugene. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Raymond; and brother, Jack.
