Cameon Esther Tullis

Cameon Esther Tullis passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Mercy Westlakes of pneumonia and CHF at the age of 87.

Cameon was born in Leon, Iowa to Harvey and Julia Fitch. She married Paul V. Tullis, Sr. on September 11, 1940. She worked for Woltz Studio, Bob Allen Gun Club and retired from the Iowa Commission for the Blind. Cameon was a member of Highland Park Christian Church, Highland Park American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed traveling, picnicking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Jr. (Linda) of Des Moines, Douglas of West Des Moines; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; sister, Mildred Brady of Des Moines; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cameon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul, Sr.; two sisters and three brothers.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with visitation on Thursday, February 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral service on Friday, February 17 at 12 noon.
