Donna Woody, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. She was born the daughter of Ora and Laura Comegys on April 17, 1928 in Des Moines, Iowa. Donna worked with her husband at Don Johnson's Pharmacy on E.9th & Hull. She later worked at Hiland Bakery for 20 years and retired in 2009. Above everything, Donna treasured time spent with her family.

She is lovingly survived by her sons, Steve (Karen) Woody and Matt (Lynn) Woody; grandchildren, Erin Schirm, Jesse Woody, Elisabeth (Jason) Brunk, and Alexa (Paul) Lemon; great-grandchildren, Arlie, Lilah,Harlow,and James; sister, Jean Alderman; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hugh Woody; three brothers; and one sister.

A private family service will be held at Capitol Hill Lutheran Church, 511 Des Moines St, Des Moines. Internment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, Des Moines.
