Clark Cogley

Clark Cogley, 67, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on August 24, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Clark Clayton Cogley was born on July 6, 1953 in Lake City, Iowa to Richard and Irma (Lohr) Cogley. Clark attended school in the Des Moines Public School District, graduating with the Des Moines Valley class of 1971. He went on and attended DMACC and Drake University.

Clark was united in marriage to Jeannie Lynch on September 25, 1982 in Cedar Rapids Iowa and they were blessed with three children: Clayton, Jason, and Stephanie. Clark was a loving and caring husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved coaching Little League with his sons, being in nature, fishing, and spending time with his grandson.

Clark worked at Titan Marketing for 24 years in the IT Department. He was a longtime member of Community Church of Christ and he was Ordained into the Priesthood in 2014.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Irma Cogley, wife, Jeannie, children, Clayton, Jason, and Stephanie, grandson, Colton, sister, Cindy (Jim) Madonia, mother-in-law, Beverly Lynch, sisters-in-law, Linda Stiger, PA., Lori Kaplan, WI., brother-in-law, Scott Lynch MN., and many nieces and nephews, Bret, Julie, Jennifer, Steven, Kim, Karie, Kristy, Karla, Collin, and Troy.

In death he rejoins his father, Richard Cogley, father-in-law Willard Lynch and sisters-in-law Dixie Daughman and Michelle Lynch.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Brooks South Town Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, Iowa 50321.

Celebration of Life services will follow at 10:30 a.m. also at Brooks South Town. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The Community of Christ Church, 1645 Pennsylvania Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50316.
