Charles Jackson, aged 28, committed suicide at Des Moines by drinking carbolic acid. He drank such a large quantity that it is thought that death's was instantaneous and he died without a struggle. He and his wife separated six weeks ago and since then he had been despondent.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1885 and died July, 1913. He is buried in Glendale Cemetery
