Rick A. Seibel, 71, of Des Moines, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Pearl Valley Nursing and Rehab Center. Private family service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Rick’s name. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com . Rick Arthur Seibel was born on December 27, 1948 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Ralph F. and Juanita (Paustian) Seibel. Rick graduated from Durant High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Rick worked as an over-the-road truck driver and was a car enthusiast. He enjoyed going to the Cordova Drag Races.

Rick will be deeply missed by his brother Ron (Jane) Seibel of Blue Grass; sisters, Donna (Roland) Paper of New Liberty and Connie (Ed) Voss of Durant; and several nieces and nephews.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Susan; nephews, Terry Kook and Dan Voss; and nieces Kelly and JoDee Seibel.
