Edna H. Dorsey, 100, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Calvin Community.

Edna was born January 14, 1912, in Brayton, Iowa, to Peter and Henrietta Jorgensen. She worked for Wolf Clothing for several years. Edna grew up in Clinton and married Frances Dorsey June 24, 1939. She and her husband built their home in Beaverdale and lived there for 62 years.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Frances “Frank” Dorsey in 1978.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Calvin Community. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa.
