Gary Grant, 64 of Des Moines passed away at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines on May 13, 2011. Private services will be held in Los Angeles, California.

Gary was born on March 9, 1947 to Jones and Teta Bauer Grant in South Bend, Indiana. He gradated from John Adams High School in South Bend, Indiana and continued his education at Drake University where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and met the love of his life, Ann Laughead. He was united in marriage to Ann on January 25, 1969 and to this union two children were born, Jeff and Joel. Gary's hobbies included investing, sailing, and vacationing with his family.

He will be missed by his wife, Ann; sons, Jeff (Debbie) Grant of Las Angeles, CA and Joel (Aiko) Grant of London, England; sister, Artie Bussert of Bat Cave, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Pat Cudahy, who passed away several hours earlier in Coldwater, Michigan on Friday, May 13 also.
