WELL KNOWN IOWA ACTOR DEAD
Raymond Chase, Who Won Fame In Ade’s Play, Suddenly Stricken.
Raymond Chase, son of Dr. F. W. Chase, is dead at Des Moines.
He was young in years, but had won fame on the stage in his portrayal of Bud Hides in George Ade’s “College Widow.” He was forced to quit his stage work because of a nervous break down, but his friends expected him to rally and become one of the most prominent actors Iowa has produced. He leaves a wife.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Glendale Cemetery and was born July 5, 1877 and died November 3, 1909.
