Wilbur E. Peercy, 71 of 931 Pleasantview Drive died of a respiratory ailment Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Peercy lived in Des Moines most of his life and retired as fleet sale manager for Dewey Ford. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.
Among survivors are his wife, Marilyn; two sons, Wayne of Salt Lake City and Larry of Des Moines; a daughter, Patricia Rutledge of Buchanan Dam, Texas; three sisters, Lucille Jones of Killduff, Mary Higdon of Florissant, Mo., and Eva Biggs of Ola, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
