Shocking Accident Near Runnells
The county papers in the south and west portions all tell about the distressing accident which took the life of Chas. Van Horn.
He was with a threshing machine outfit which was moving from one job to another when they, in attempting to pass by an automobile, which was in the middle of the road with no occupant, got into soft dirt and the gears were stripped by an extra strain and started it backward. One of the men jumped but Mr. Van Horn stumbled and fell and was crushed under the fire-box.
