Last Sunday, J. T. Hall attended the funeral of his aunt, Miss Nancy McClay, at Bondurant, and acted with others of her nephews as one of the pall bearers. Miss McClay had reached the age of 89 and had been a resident of the Mitchellville neighborhood since 1854. In spite of the rain and bad roads, there was a very large crowd in attendance at the funeral. The body was laid to rest at the side of her brother in Santiago.
